WE ARE BACK.

WE ARE BACK.

Google gave me no reason as to why they deleted the blog. So finally got it restored. YAY.
I was not happy when they deleted it, but I'm glad because this means I can post the naughty books here.

Hope that this does not happen again. Crossing fingers.

But as boundaries erode, Gideon realizes he has become irreversibly changed-by a bond with the two people in his life he can't survive without: vampires

Book Review

I love the world that Joey W. Hill has built with her Vampire Queen Series. Every book is like delving into a rich piece of dark chocolate.

What I love about the three characters, Gideon, Anwyn, Daegan each evolve in a surprising way, but it was necessary for their growth as a threesome. What each brings to this relationship is stability and respite from the outside world.

All of Joey W. Hill's books are very sexual and this is no exception. What I like about the triangle or threesome she has created that they all of them start to care. Both Gideon and Daegan have a lot to deal with to keep Anywn safe. Anywn settles into her new life, but comes to realize that she loves both Gideon and Daegan.

What is magnificent about this book, is that the sex scenes are terrific, juicy, sultry and downright wonderful.  I devoured each scene like a fine wine.  In the end, they come together and find that they are stronger together than apart.

This was a very enjoyable BDSM book. I highly recommend it.

Seven Years to Sin Review

Title: Seven Years to Sin
Author: Sylvia Day
Genre: Historical Romance with lots of hot sex scenes
Publisher: Kensington
My Copy: Got at Authors After Dark

Book Synposis:

The longer the resistance...
Seven years ago, on the eve of her wedding, proper Lady Jessica Sheffield witnessed a licentious scene no innocent young miss could imagine. Shocked, yet strangely titillated, she'd held her silence regarding scandalous Alistair Caulfield, and walked down the aisle as expected. But through years of serene, unremarkable marriage, Caulfield's image remained burned into her imagination, fueling very illicit dreams. . .
...the sweeter the reward
Alistair ran far from the temptation of the prim debutante with the fire of passion in her eyes—all the way to the West Indies. As a successful merchant, he has little in common with the rakehell youth she knew. But when newly widowed Jessica steps aboard his ship for a transatlantic passage, seven years' worth of denied pleasures are held in check by nothing more than a few layers of silk—and the certainty that surrender will consume them both. . .

Book Review:

Charming, sweet, and everything that I have come to expect of a historical. There were a few surprises that made me really like this book even more than I thought I would.

What charmed me about this book was the fact these are two individuals who didn't know each other, but when Jessica met Alistair, it was under very uncomfortable circumstances. She saw him having sex with a woman. Yet something about watching this act made her feel aroused. She ran away.

This is interesting, because even though no words are spoken between them, yet there is an attraction. What makes this is interesting is that this makes Jessica run away.

Then we fast forward several years in the future. Jessica is now a widow and embarks to sell her plantation in Jamaica not expecting that she will run or be on a ship with Alistair. Alistair has always been attracted to her as well.

What happens on that ship is one hot ride. When Jessica and Alistair have sex for the first time, the scene is so hot, that it melts my tongue. I mean I really never thought that they would have sex when they did and so early in the book.  The relationship in this book is done so well, that I can see why Alistair and Jessica fall for each other. They both accept each other's faults ideas, and start to form a mutual respect for one another.

Now, lets start with the secondary storyline. I mean I didn't expect Jessica's sister of being a victim of domestic violence, even though in those days it wasn't. This plot or device is hardly ever used in historicals. In some of the contemporary fiction I have seen this. Yet in those days women never spoke about it. They just endured it.

I found Jessica's sister story line to be heartbreaking. Especially when she lost the baby she so wanted. I cried like a baby. Overall if you are a woman you can identify with what this woman has endured. This plot was written very well and made believable.

Jessica is afraid she will not be accepted by Alistair's family and he makes her feel welcome and both of them are surprised by how many people love them both. Plus I like the fact that they got married.

This was a very sweet book. Yet the love scenes were steamy. The secondary plot was handled with delicateness. Overall this book gets

Book Review:

A book that needs to be savored and read with such enjoyment.  I enjoyed the way the author crafted the story right away from the beginning.

Mackenzie, the female protaganist has to wrestle with being turned into a shifter against her will and by her ex-boyfriend. What I loved about Mackenzie was that she seemed to have a heart and the attraction to  Adam was instant.

Even though Mackenzie is dealing with a lot of changes and trauma, Adam is there to help her.  What is nice about Adam and Mackenzie in the beginning is that neither one of them is looking for  a partner, but trying to get through the situation. Little do they realize how much they will come to mean to each other.

What  I really liked about this book was that Adam and Mackenzie developed their relationship. The chemistry between them was just amazing.  I loved the love scenes between them   Adam and Mackenzie were just great. It was one of the most amazing books I've read.

Love the shifter scenes when everyone shifts and the fight scenes were great because they felt very realistic. The writing was superb.

I enjoyed the characters. This book was very enjoyable.  I give it

Title: Eternal Flame
Author: Cynthia Eden
Series: Night Watch #3
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Publisher: Brava-Imprint of Kensington Publishing<

Book Synposis:

From Louisiana's sultry swamps to its desolate cemeteries, Jana and Zane must race to destroy the mastermind behind Perseus before their world goes up in flames—and with it, a desire that burns too hot to resist...<br/>

Book Review: This book was very good. I always look forward to reading Cynthia Eden novels. This was no exception.

What I really liked about this book was that it was filled with action packed scenes. Lots of hot steamy sex scenes between Zane and Jana. Even though I felt that they had enough sexual attraction between them, it was like knowing these two would end up in bed. Jana was an intriguing heroine and Zane a very sexy hero.

The twist and turns were exciting and kept me glued to my seat. I just wish there had been a little bit more romance in the book. This reminded me more of a suspense novel with some paranormal twists, but it was still an overall good book. Like that both Zane and Jana were great and had some baggage, but learned to trust one another.

All couples in romance novels need to trust one another. At first Jana and Zane don't trust each other. Yet they find themselves learning to trust the other person. Everyone tries to come at them, because everyone is trying to kill Jana or use her power for their own advantage save Zane. Zane being the sexy, yet studly hero that he is will not let anybody harm her. They know they shouldn't, but they do. That's what I really loved about this book.

Really good book. Give it a rating of:

She Who Dares, Wins by Candace Havens Book Review

Title: She Who Dares, She Wins
Author: Candace Havens
Publisher: Harlequin Blaze
Pub Date: March 22, 2011
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Pages: 224 pages
My Copy: Bought at Romance Writers of America Signing

Book Synopsis:

Well, it certainly wasn't the assignment detective Katie McClure was expecting. Traveling to London to protect an old scientist who'd been receiving death threats? Too easy.

As it turns out, Dr. Macon Douglas is hot. The kind that makes Katie ponder her own kinds of experiments—namely ones that involve Mac being naked. But the death threats are real…along with the wicked chemistry that seems to sizzle and zap whenever they're together.

Can Katie keep her professional thoughts in mind and keep Mac safe—or will she risk everything and dare to be bare?

Book Review:

Well I got this book because I've read her other series which was a lot of fun. What I liked about this book was that the characters were very vibrant and seemed to have a bit of attitude to them. Attitude in the fact that they were very spunky.

I love when my characters have spunk. Also love the fact that we waste no time in getting right to the smut. OMG. This woman can write hot steamy scenes.

What I like was that even though Macon Douglas knows who Katie is, she doesn't know who he is and their chemistry was smoking hot. Macon Douglas proves that he is a man who knows what he wants and goes for it.

The mystery and Katie wanting to do her job is wonderful, but what really what I like about the book is that we took a journey with these characters that they build a relationship, despite the twists. Mac being threatened and the reasons why were excellent, but  what I really loved was the love story.

Katie is a little distrustful, but Mac is one smoking hero, who refuses to accept no for an answer.
Yet it's Katie's mother who says that she has to fight for love and no relationship is perfect and that you have to work at it. The moral of the story is that sometimes we have to fight for love. Love is wonderful, but you have to make the effort.

I really like this story. Candace Havens did an excellent job.

But involving Cara will prove treacherous, even beyond the maddening, dangerous desire that seizes them the moment they meet. For staving off eternal darkness could have a staggering cost: Cara's life.

Book Review:

This book was smoking hot. I simply loved it.

Larissa Ione has delivered a great start to her Lords of Deliverance series. I simply found this first book smoking hot (gee I said that twice). This book was everything that I've come to expect from a Larissa Ione book. Hot, sexy, great chemistry and the love scenes were smoking hot.

The thing that made this book work for me personally, which I found great was the world building was fantastic. I also like how we get a back story right in the beginning. It also explains why Ares and his siblings are the way they are.  This building up of the world made a good story even better and enhanced it. You come to understand Ares personality and that of his siblings.

Also like how some of the characters from Demonica make an appearance in the book. They in some ways I felt enhanced the story. This story is great because Cara is a vet, someone who tries to heal animals and heals a hellhound not knowing that she is stepping into a world filled with demons, vampires and many other creatures.

What I really liked about the book was the amazing chemistry that is between Ares and Cara. They argue, fight each other verbally, don't want to admit the attraction but can't deny it. I felt that this relationship was so good and the sex scenes were so hot, that my mouth was watering.

The twists and turns were so great that i nearly jumped out of my skin and just loved the book. When I read a book in two days, it was a great read.

I really enjoy Larissa Ione's book and this book was fantastic. Hoping to read the second book in December.
